- The Commodore, or his designated representative, is responsible for locking the clubhouse after all club functions.
- The membership will leave the clubhouse as they found it (including clean grills, floors, bathrooms, etc.)
- Club supplies are to be used for club functions only. Members using the clubhouse for their own parties are to provide their own coffee, paper goods, etc.
- Rental fee to members is $100 plus a $65 returnable cleaning fee. Request must be in writing and must include necessary fees.
- Children are welcome at all cruises and functions. members are responsible for the conduct of their children and guests.
- Each member will be responsible to serve once a year at a regular meeting by assisting in the preparation and serving of refreshments and for being Chairman or Cochairman of one party.
- Members who are not able to participate in assigned projects are to let the Social Chairperson know in adequate time for the Chairperson to make a substitution.
- Opening Day is our one time per year for all members to get together. It is organized by the Fleet Captain/Rear Commodore. This has been a tradition for our club since its inception.
- Breakfast at the club house at a designated time on Opening Day
- The Opening Day ceremony on the Dike with:
- Prayer
- Raising the US Flag, Oregon flag and MCYC burgee
- Pledge of Allegiance
- Firing of cannon
- Group photo
- Members will then embark on boats to attend the Parade of Boats
- All members are “highly encouraged” to participate
- If you cannot attend it is your responsibility to inform the Fleet Captain/Rear Commodore
